A cluster of islets connected by wooden boardwalks. The clear blue water hold nature’s gifts for the adventurous traveler to unravel. A paradise hidden from the turmoil of urban living. Simply heaven on earth.
Aside from rates that are considered expensive and unaffordable for local guests now this facility also need some reconstruction.

We made a brief stop in an abandoned resort called Pig-ot in Libjo Municipality. The stilt cottages - purposely built in an belt of islets to protect it from the currents - were connected from each other by plank bridges fastened only by crumbly twines. Inward the towering islets was a shallow area for swimming and snorkeling, a wading pool that was almost independent from outer streams and tides. While waiting for our next destination, we lounged at a kiosk on top of one of the islets.

any other pics of Pig-ot Hideaway?
i have been to Pig-Ot Resort. It was beautiful back then around 1998. i havent been there eversince even when i went for visits. Even if the cottages werent there anymore and it became the Pig_ot that it was before, by mother-nature alone, Pig-ot is beautiful -- with its clear waters, white sand, and coconut trees, seashells, and for a visitor like me, i cherish the tranquility of the islet. it's me again, editherazo827@yahoo.com
wow! really? Melvin Llamera is a former US Navy Officer? that's great, knowing someone from libjo is a US Navy Officer before. Does anyone knows what his rank in the US Navy before? Just curious.
